Norah Jones will perform on Friday, July 14, 2023, starting with 8.30 pm, in Piazza Napoleone, in Lucca, as part of the Lucca Summer Festival 2023.

Norah Jones launched her solo music career in 2002, with the release of Come Away with Me, which was a fusion of jazz with country, blues, folk and pop.
The album was certified diamond, selling over 27 million copies. It earned five Grammy Awards, including the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist.
Her subsequent studio albums, Feels Like Home, released in 2004, Not Too Late, released in 2007, and The Fall, released in 2009, gained platinum status, selling over a million copies each.
Jones’s fifth studio album, Little Broken Hearts, was released in 2012, her sixth, Day Breaks, was released in 2016, and her seventh studio album, Pick Me Up Off the Floor, on June 12, 2020.
Norah Jones won several awards for her music, and sold more than 50 million records worldwide. Billboard named her the top jazz artist of the 2000’s decade.
LUCCA SUMMER FESTIVAL
The first edition of the Lucca Summer Festival was held in 1998, when Bob Dylan, George Benson and Joe Cocker performed on stage.
Over time, important names attended the festival, such as David Bowie, James Brown, Mark Knopfler, Jamiroquai, Seal, Zucchero, Ray Charles, Elton John, Paul Simon, Rod Stewart, Oasis, Anastacia, Giorgia, Green Day, Ennio Morricone, The Rolling Stones, Sting, Scorpions, Alanis Morissette, The Cranberries, Buena Vista Social Club, Joan Baez, Natalie Cole, Youssou N’Dour, and Eagles.
As usual, the Lucca Summer Festival 2023 will take place during the summer months in Lucca. So far, besides Norah Jones, artists like KISS, The Chemical Brothers, Simply Red, Blur and OneRepublic were confirmed for the 2023 edition of the festival.
THE VENUE
Piazza Napoleone is the main square of Lucca, and one of the venues where, every year in the summer, is held one of the most important music festivals in Italy, the Lucca Summer Festival.
Piazza Napoleone is located inside the city walls of Lucca, about 650 meters away from the Lucca railway station. The closest bus stop is Napoleone, located in the northwestern corner of the square, on the bus Lines 5, LAM Blu and LAM Verde.
