    Lucca Summer Festival 2022

    Lucca Summer Festival 2022 will take place during the months of June and July, 2022, in Lucca. > Buy Your Ticket Now   THE FESTIVAL The first edition of the Lucca Summer Festival was held in 1998, when Bob Dylan, George Benson and Joe Cocker performed on stage. Over time, important names attended the festival, among which we can mention David Bowie, James Brown, Mark Knopfler, Jamiroquai, Seal, Zucchero, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Paul Simon, Rod Stewart, Oasis, Anastacia, Giorgia, Green Day, Ennio Morricone and The Rolling Stones. On 5 July 2009, the Dave Matthews Band held a concert of over three and a half hours, the longest performance of their career. On 23 September 2017, it was held the historic Rolling Stones concert, the only Italian date of the No Filter European tour, which established the attendance record for this event, of about 55,000 people. On this occasion, the stage was built alongside the City Walls, precisely in the former Balilla Field. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date.   THE ARTIST John Roger Stephens was born on December 28, 1978, in Springfield, Ohio. He began playing the piano at age 4. At the age of 7, he started performing with his church choir. Prior to the release of his debut album, Get Lifted, in 2004, Legend collaborated with artists like Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Slum Village, Fort Minor, and Lauryn Hill. To date, he released seven full-length studio albums, four live albums, two video albums, three extended plays, 39 singles and two promotional singles.
