The festival is structured to make the most of Florence’s warm summer evenings, with performances typically beginning in the afternoon and continuing into the night.

WHAT IS THE LOCATION OF FIRENZE ROCKS 2025?

As in recent years, Firenze Rocks 2025 will take place in Florence, at the Visarno Arena, within the Visarno Hippodrome, in Parco delle Cascine.

By choosing the Cascine Park, Florence’s largest public park – the organizers created a location that could handle large crowds while offering a beautiful outdoor setting.

Florence is the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany, lies in a basin formed by beautiful hills, and is cut in half by the Arno River.

Florence is situated 78 kilometers east of Pisa, 104 kilometers south of Bologna, 252 kilometers southwest of Venice, 283 kilometers north of Rome, and 317 kilometers southeast of Milan.

SHORT HISTORY OF THE FIRENZE ROCKS FESTIVAL

Since its inception in 2017, Firenze Rocks has drawn rock music fans from around the world, celebrating a mix of classic rock, alternative, indie, and heavy metal.

The inaugural edition featured headline acts such as Aerosmith, Placebo, and Eddie Vedder, drawing in tens of thousands of fans.

In 2018, in front of over 210,000 spectators, The Kills, Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne performed at the festival.

In 2019, the most important artists who appeared on stage were Ed Sheeran, The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dream Theater and Eddie Vedder.

Firenze Rocks 2025 – Palazzo Vecchio

The 2019 edition of the festival had over 500,000 attendees.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of the festival was first postponed to 2021, and then to 2022.

The 2022 edition was particularly memorable as it marked the return of Firenze Rocks after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Featuring headliners like Metallica, Muse, and Green Day, it saw record attendance and renewed enthusiasm as fans gathered once again for the music they love in the vibrant atmosphere of Florence.

In 2023, The Who and Maroon 5 performed on the stage of Firenze Rocks.
