The Chemical Brothers – No Geography Tour 2022

The Chemical Brothers will perform on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Capannelle Racecourse, in Rome, as part of the Rock in Roma 2022.

Besides the concert in Rome, The Chemical Brothers will also appear on stage in Milan, on July 7, 2022, at the Milano Summer Festival 2022, and in Bologna, on July 9, 2022, at the Bologna Sonic Park 2022.

THE BAND

The Chemical Brothers are an English electronic music duo formed in Manchester in 1989, by Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons. The duo released their debut album, Exit Planet Dust, in 1995.

The Chemical Brothers achieved widespread success with their second album, Dig Your Own Hole, which topped the UK charts in 1997. Surrender was released in 1999, Come with Us in 2002, Push the Button in 2005, We Are the Night in 2007, Further in 2010, and Born in the Echoes in 2015.

The Chemical Brothers’ ninth studio album, No Geography, was released on April 12, 2019, to critical acclaim. Over time, they had six number one albums and 13 top 20 singles in the UK.

THE FESTIVAL

Rock in Roma is a music festival that takes place every year in Rome, since 2002. Until its 2008 edition, the event was known as the Romarock Festival.

The festival usually has a various lineup, which allows the meeting of different cultures and musical genres.

THE VENUE

Capannelle Racecourse (Ippodromo delle Capannelle) is a horse racing venue in Rome. The racecourse is the home of the Rock in Roma festival since 2009.

You can reach the venue by train, getting off at the Capannelle railway station, located about 900 meters away. The closest bus stop is Capannelle/Appia Nuova, a few meters away from the entrance to the racecourse, on the bus Lines 118, 520, 654, 664, 789 and C11.
