    The American singer Laura Pergolizzi, better known as LP, will perform on Friday, July 22, 2022, starting with 9.00 pm, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, in the Cavea amphitheater, in Rome. The concert is part of the Roma Summer Fest 2022.

    In 2022, LP will also appear on stage in Milan, on March 11, in Nichelino, on July 17, in Florence, on July 18, and in Marostica, on July 19.

     

    THE ARTIST

    Between 2001 and 2018, LP released 5 studio albums. Her debut album, Heart-Shaped Scar, was released in 2001 through Koch Records. LP’s second album, Suburban Sprawl & Alcohol, was released in June 2004, but in spite of positive reviews from critics, the album failed to gain widespread recognition.

    In 2009, LP started writing songs for other artists, including Cher, Rihanna, Backstreet Boys, Leona Lewis, Mylène Farmer and Christina Aguilera.

    LP’s third album, Forever for Now, was released ten years after her second album, in 2014. Her fourth studio album, Lost on You, was released in 2016. Her biggest hit to date, the track Lost On You, went platinum in Russia, Poland, Greece, Switzerland, Italy and France.

    Her fifth album, Heart to Mouth, was released on December 7, 2018. Her sixth studio album, Churches, is scheduled for release on October 8, 2021.

     

    THE FESTIVAL

    Roma Summer Fest is a music festival produced by the Musica per Roma Foundation in a unique venue – the Auditorium Parco della Musica, designed by the great architect Renzo Piano.

    The lineup for the 2022 edition of the festival includes names like Lorde, Skunk Anansie, Deep Purple, Michael Kiwanuka and Simple Minds.

     

    THE VENUE

    Auditorium Parco della Musica represents a complex of halls dedicated to music, designed by Renzo Piano and completed on December 21, 2002. The Cavea is an open-air amphitheater in the heart of the Auditorium, which can accommodate up to 3,000 spectators.

    Auditorum Parco della Musica is located in Largo Luciano Berio, in the northwest of Rome. The closest bus stop is De Coubertin/Auditorium, located about 110 meters away, on the bus Lines 53, 168, 910 and 982.
