• About

Parco della Musica di Milano 2027 will take place during June and July 2027 in Segrate, a municipality immediately east of Milan. The event represents the third edition of a summer concert series established in 2025, bringing internationally recognised musicians to an outdoor venue near Milan Linate Airport.

The concerts will be held at the Parco della Musica di Milano, a seasonal entertainment complex occupying approximately 70,000 square metres of green space. Located on Via Enzo Jannacci, the venue features two adaptable performance stages, different audience configurations, and a free-access area equipped with food and beverage facilities.

The event follows a format based on individual ticketed concerts rather than a continuous programme of performances over a single weekend. Its organisation combines temporary concert infrastructure with an established metropolitan transport network, allowing audiences to reach the venue from central Milan using public transport, including the M4 metro line.

When Will Parco della Musica di Milano 2027 Take Place?

Parco della Musica di Milano 2027 will take place during June and July 2027, with concerts organised on separate dates. The summer programme follows the same general format established during the first two editions, when performances were distributed across different evenings rather than concentrated into one continuous festival weekend.

Each concert functions as a separate event, with its own admission ticket, scheduled performance time, audience sectors, and entry arrangements. Visitors purchase admission for the individual performance they wish to attend, rather than buying a single festival pass covering the entire concert series.

The previous editions demonstrate the event’s extended summer format. The inaugural season in 2025 covered June and July, while the second edition in 2026 continued into September. This arrangement distinguishes the concert series from traditional festivals that operate for three or four consecutive days.

Where Will Parco della Musica di Milano 2027 Take Place?

The event takes place in Novegro, a locality within the municipality of Segrate, in the Metropolitan City of Milan. The concert area stands near Milan Linate Airport and Parco Esposizioni Novegro, outside Milan’s administrative boundaries but within its closely connected metropolitan territory.

    About Milan

Milan is the capital of Lombardy and Italy’s second-largest city by population. It occupies a central position in the western Po Valley, the extensive lowland region extending across northern Italy between the Alps and the Apennine Mountains. The city is one of the principal urban centres of the Italian peninsula.

The municipality covers approximately 181 square kilometres and stands at an average elevation of around 120 metres above sea level. Its largely flat territory has supported extensive urban development, industrial activity, and transport infrastructure connecting Milan with other parts of northern Italy and neighbouring European countries.

Segrate borders Milan to the east and forms part of its metropolitan development. Its territory includes residential neighbourhoods, commercial and industrial areas, transport infrastructure, and the Idroscalo, an artificial lake created during the twentieth century. Novegro lies in the southwestern section of the municipality, near Linate Airport.

What Is the Venue of Parco della Musica di Milano 2027?

The Parco della Musica di Milano is an outdoor entertainment venue situated at Via Enzo Jannacci, 20054 Segrate. Developed as a project of Unipol Arena, it occupies an extensive green area close to the eastern edge of Milan and is designed to accommodate major concerts during the summer season.

The complex covers approximately 70,000 square metres and incorporates two principal performance stages, named Arena and Garden. Both are adaptable to different concert productions, with arrangements that include standing areas and seating sectors according to the requirements of individual events.

Between the two principal concert areas is a free-access section intended for entertainment and social activities. This space contains food trucks and beverage facilities and serves as a meeting area within the complex. Its location allows visitors to use designated services without entering the ticket-controlled performance sectors.

The venue operates using cashless payments, with electronic transactions managed through self-service terminals. Food and drinks are available from dedicated outlets within the concert areas and the free-access section. Merchandise facilities and additional visitor services are incorporated into the temporary infrastructure during the summer season.

Environmental management is another element of the venue’s operating concept. The organisers promote sustainable mobility, reduced plastic consumption, digital tickets, and the use of renewable energy. Public transport and bicycles are encouraged as alternatives to private cars, supported by the venue’s proximity to Milan’s metro system.

How to Get to Parco della Musica di Milano?

By metro: The most convenient route from central Milan uses Metro Line M4, the blue line, towards Linate Aeroporto. The venue is approximately 600 metres from the station, with a designated pedestrian route taking around seven minutes. Line M4 connects the airport area with San Babila, Sant’Ambrogio, and other central districts.

By bus: Routes 973 and 923 serve the Novegro area. Bus 973 connects Piazza Cinque Giornate with the eastern metropolitan districts and provides connections with Metro Line M4 at Forlanini, Repetti, and Linate Aeroporto. Passengers can use the Novegro stop to approach the concert venue.

By car: The complex can be reached from Milan’s Tangenziale Est using Exit 6 for Linate. Drivers arriving from Venice, Turin, or Bologna can connect with the surrounding motorway network. The venue has dedicated parking facilities, with parking tickets available through authorised sales channels.

For late return journeys, Milan’s transport system includes night bus services replacing metro lines after normal railway operations finish. A Short History of Parco della Musica di Milano

The Parco della Musica di Milano was established in 2025 as a new seasonal concert venue developed by Unipol Arena. The project introduced a large outdoor entertainment space to the eastern Milan metropolitan area, using land associated with Parco Esposizioni Novegro near Linate Airport.

The venue officially opened on June 18, 2025, with a concert by Massive Attack. The inaugural event marked the beginning of a summer concert programme designed around individual performances by major Italian and international musicians.

The first season included eight concerts, presented between June 18 and July 30. Among the participating performers were Ozuna, Nine Inch Nails, Kool & The Gang, De La Soul, Willie Peyote, The Who, and The Smashing Pumpkins, representing a broad combination of musical styles and different generations of artists.

The inauguration also introduced the venue’s main organisational characteristics, including modular performance spaces, cashless payment facilities, and designated parking areas. Approximately 3,000 parking places were made available, while the proximity of Metro Line M4 provided a public transport alternative for concertgoers travelling from central Milan.

The second edition took place in 2026, extending the concert calendar from June into September. The programme included Bad Omens, Halsey, Garbage, The Flaming Lips, Pixies, Mac DeMarco, Belle and Sebastian, Vulfpeck, and Lorde, expanding the range of alternative rock, pop, and independent music represented at the venue.

Other participating artists during 2026 included Gloria Gaynor, Boy George & Culture Club, Caparezza, Hollywood Vampires, Negramaro, Mannarino, and Gemitaiz. The programme combined internationally established musicians with Italian performers, using the adaptable stage configurations and visitor facilities introduced during the inaugural season.

The third edition in 2027 continues the annual summer concert series at the same location. Its development follows two seasons that established Parco della Musica as an additional outdoor performance venue within Milan’s metropolitan entertainment network, alongside the city’s existing arenas, stadiums, and concert halls.

    What to Visit in Milan

Milan Cathedral, known as the Duomo di Milano, is one of Europe’s largest Gothic churches. Construction began in 1386 and continued for several centuries, producing an elaborate structure characterised by pinnacles, sculptural decoration, and stained-glass windows. Visitors can explore the interior, archaeological areas, and rooftop terraces overlooking Piazza del Duomo.

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a monumental nineteenth-century shopping arcade connecting Piazza del Duomo with Piazza della Scala. Designed by Giuseppe Mengoni, it features an iron-and-glass roof, decorated façades, and mosaic floors. Nearby stands Teatro alla Scala, the historic opera house inaugurated in 1778.

Castello Sforzesco is a former defensive fortress and ducal residence associated with the Visconti and Sforza families. Its present architectural configuration developed mainly during the fifteenth century. The complex houses several museums and important artworks, including Michelangelo’s unfinished sculpture Pietà Rondanini, displayed in a dedicated museum.

The Dominican complex of Santa Maria delle Grazie contains Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, painted between approximately 1495 and 1498. The mural occupies the former convent refectory and forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admission is organised through timed visits because of the artwork’s conservation requirements.

The Pinacoteca di Brera is one of Italy’s principal art museums, situated in Milan’s historic Brera district. Its collections include paintings by Raphael, Caravaggio, Andrea Mantegna, and Piero della Francesca. The surrounding neighbourhood contains historic buildings, galleries, cultural institutions, and streets associated with Milan’s artistic traditions.

    What to Eat

Risotto alla Milanese is one of Milan’s most characteristic traditional dishes. It is prepared with rice, saffron, broth, and butter, producing a creamy consistency and distinctive golden colour. The recipe is associated with Lombard culinary traditions and is commonly served as a first course or alongside meat dishes.

Ossobuco alla Milanese consists of cross-cut veal shanks slowly cooked until tender. The marrow contained in the central bone is an important characteristic of the preparation. Traditional versions include vegetables, broth, and white wine, with gremolata made from parsley, garlic, and lemon zest added before serving.

Cotoletta alla Milanese is a breaded veal cutlet traditionally cooked in clarified butter. The classic preparation uses a relatively thick, bone-in chop rather than a thin slice of boneless meat. It is one of the city’s most recognisable meat dishes and remains associated with traditional Milanese restaurants.

Mondeghili are Milanese meatballs traditionally prepared using cooked meat, bread, eggs, and seasonings. They originated as a practical way to reuse leftover meat and are commonly fried in butter. Their name and historical development reflect culinary influences associated with the period of Spanish administration in Milan.

Panettone is a traditional Milanese sweet bread particularly associated with Christmas. Its tall, rounded shape contains a soft, enriched dough, usually prepared with raisins and candied citrus peel. Although mainly consumed during the winter holidays, it remains one of Milan’s best-known culinary specialities internationally.
