As usual, Roma Summer Fest 2025 will take place during the warm summer months, from June to September.

Roma Summer Fest is not conceived as a classic music festival, but more as a collection of concerts, in which international and Italian artists perform over a period of about four months.

WHAT IS THE LOCATION OF THE ROMA SUMMER FEST 2025?

Roma Summer Fest 2025 will take place, of course, in Rome, the capital city of Italy and the Lazio region.

Rome, built on seven hills, between the Apennine mountains and the Tyrrhenian Sea, is splited in two by the River Tiber, and has an area of about 1,285 square kilometers.

Rome is located 220 kilometers northwest of Naples, 385 kilometers south of Bologna, 492 kilometers southeast of Genoa, 495 kilometers south of Venice, and 600 kilometers southeast of Milan.

Roma Summer Fest 2025

Roma Summer Fest is a summer music festival produced by the Musica per Roma Foundation in a unique venue – Auditorium Parco della Musica, designed by the great architect Renzo Piano.

Since its inception, Roma Summer Fest has been dedicated to bringing together a diverse range of musical genres, attracting artists from rock, pop, jazz, and classical backgrounds.

Many important Italian and international artists performed at the previous editions of the festival, such as Elton John, Sting, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, José Carreras, and Patti Smith.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 edition of the Roma Summer Fest was postponed to 2021, and then rescheduled to 2022.

In 2022, some of the artists who attended the festival were Lorde, Skunk Anansie, Deep Purple, Michael Kiwanuka, Simple Minds, LP, and Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals.

In 2023, Bob Dylan, Paolo Conte, Pet Shop Boys, Sigur Rós, Sting, and OneRepublic performed on the stage of the festival.

In 2024, the most important artists who performed at the festival were Simple Minds, Queens of the Stone Age, Take That, James Blake, Deep Purple and Fatboy Slim.
