    Sigur Rós will perform on Friday, September 12, and Saturday, September 13, 2025, starting with 9.00 pm, in Rome, as part of the Roma Summer Fest 2025.

    The concerts will be held at the Auditorum Parco della Musica, in Sala Santa Cecilia.

    Besides the concerts in Rome, Sigur Rós will also appear on stage in Milan, on September 9 and 10, 2025, at Teatro degli Arcimboldi.

    The concerts are part of their European and UK Orchestral Tour 2025, in which Sigur Rós will perform accompanied by an orchestra.

    Sigur Rós – Live in Rome

    Sigur Rós was formed in Reykjavík, in 1994.

    The band’s lineup comprises of singer and guitarist Jón Þór “Jónsi” Birgisson, bassist Georg Hólm, and keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson.

    The band is known for their ethereal sound, for the frontman Jónsi’s falsetto vocals, and for their use of bowed guitar.

    Their discography consists of eight studio albums, three remix album, five extended plays, one soundtrack album, sixteen singles, twenty-three music videos and two video albums.

     

    ROMA SUMMER FEST

    Roma Summer Fest is a summer music festival produced by the Musica per Roma Foundation in a unique venue – Auditorium Parco della Musica.

    Many important Italian and international artists performed at the previous editions of the festival, such as Elton John, Sting, Bjork, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, José Carreras, and Shaggy.

    Auditorium Parco della Musica is located in Largo Luciano Berio, in the northwestern part of Rome.

    Designed by Renzo Piano and completed on December 21, 2002, Auditorum Parco della Musica represents a complex of halls dedicated to music, in particular, and to art, in general.

    Sala Santa Cecilia, part of Auditorum Parco della Musica, is a large concert hall which can accommodate up to 2,800 spectators.

    The closest bus stop is De Coubertin/Auditorium, located about 110 meters away, on the bus Lines 53, 168, 910 and 982.

    The closest tram stop is Apollodoro, located about 300 meters away in Piazza Apollodoro, on the tram Line 2.
