Firenze Rocks 2024, one of the most important music festivals in Italy, will take place between June 13 and 16, 2024, at the Visarno Arena, in Parco delle Cascine, in Florence.
Firenze Rocks is not just another music festival. It’s an electrifying celebration of sound, culture, and history that resonates through the cobblestone streets of the iconic city of Florence.
As music reverberates throughout Florence, strangers become friends, united by their shared passion for rock music and the collective experience of being part of something truly extraordinary.
SHORT HISTORY OF THE FIRENZE ROCKS FESTIVAL
Since 2017, Florence, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and artistic legacy, provides an awe-inspiring backdrop for this musical extravaganza.
The first edition of Firenze Rocks welcomed on stage artists like Placebo, Aerosmith and System of a Down.
In 2018, in front of over 210,000 spectators, The Kills, Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne performed at the festival.
In 2019, the most important artists who appeared on stage were Ed Sheeran, The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dream Theater and Eddie Vedder.
The 2019 edition of the festival had over 500,000 attendees.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of the festival was first postponed to 2021, and then to 2022.
In 2022, the lineup of the music festival featured names like NAS, Green Day, Weezer, Placebo, Greta van Fleet, Muse and Metallica.

Each year, Firenze Rocks attracts top-tier artists who deliver unforgettable performances against the backdrop of Florence’s architectural marvels.
So far, the artists announced for Firenze Rocks 2024 are:
- Thursday, June 13, starting with 4.00 pm: Avenged Sevenfold > Buy Ticket
- Saturday, June 15, starting with 4.00 pm: Tool, The Struts, Deus and Night Verses > Buy Ticket
THE VENUE OF FIRENZE ROCKS 2024
Visarno Arena is an outdoor arena located within the Visarno Hippodrome, in the Cascine Park, in Florence.
In the middle of nature, the area is a perfect summer venue for concerts, festivals and other kind of events.
The arena is located about 2.5 kilometers away from the Santa Maria Novella railway station, and can be easily reached by public transport from the center of Florence.
The closest bus stop is Shelley, located about 150 meters away, on the bus Line 55, but you can also use the bus Line 17, getting off at Cascine 02, a bus stop located about 300 meters away from the Visarno Arena.
The closest tram stop is Cascine, located about 600 meters away, on the tram Lines T1.3 and T2.
