About
The American rock band KISS will perform on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in Milan, at the Ippodromo Snai – San Siro, as part of their The End of the Road World Tour 2019. The concert is included in the Milano Summer Festival 2019.
THE BAND
KISS was formed in 1973 in New York City by Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley. The band, known for its members’ face paint and stage outfits, rose to prominence in the second half of the 1970s.
Over time, the band has gone through several lineup changes, with Stanley and Simmons the only remaining original members. Today, besides the two original members, the band includes Singer and Tommy Thayer.
With over 100 million records sold worldwide, KISS is one of the best-selling bands of all time. In 2014, the four original members of KISS were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
In September 2018, KISS announced that they will embark on their final tour, The End of the Road, in 2019.
THE FESTIVAL
Milano Summer Festival is a music festival taking place every year, usually in June and July, in Milan. The festival brings to Milan some of the best-known artists of different music genres, spanning from rock to electronic dance music, jazz, blues, heavy metal and much more.
