The Canadian singer Bryan Adams will perform on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the Mediolanum Forum, in Assago, near Milan. The concert is part of his Shine a Light Tour 2019.
THE ARTIST
Bryan Adams rose to fame in 1983 with his album Cuts Like a Knife, and became a global superstar in 1984 with his album Reckless, which featured hits like Run to You and Summer of ’69.
In 1991, he released (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, from the album Waking Up the Neighbours, which was written for the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and became a worldwide hit, reaching number 1 in many countries.
Throughout his career, he received many awards and nominations, including 20 Juno Awards, 15 Grammy Award nominations including a win for Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television, MTV, ASCAP, American Music awards, three Ivor Novello Awards, and was nominated five times for Golden Globe Awards and three times for Academy Awards.
Bryan Adams sold over 100 million records all over the world, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artists of all time.
In January 2019, Adams released Shine a Light, the single from his upcoming album of the same name, and planned a tour to promote the album for later in 2019.
THE VENUE
The Mediolanum Forum is an indoor sports arena located in Assago, about 8 kilometers from the center of Milan. The arena has a seating capacity of 12,700 and is used primarily for sporting events and concerts.
The Mediolanum Forum is located about 450 meters away from the Assago Milanofiori Forum Metro station, which can be reached with the Metro Line M2.
