The English singer Phil Collins will perform on Monday, June 17, 2019, at the Mediolanum Forum, in Assago, part of the Metropolitan City of Milan.

Phil Collins is known for his solo career, but also as the drummer and singer of the rock band Genesis. He pursued a music career, joining Genesis in 1970 as their drummer and becoming the lead singer of the band in 1975, following the departure of Peter Gabriel.

In the 1980s, he began a solo career, releasing a series of albums: Face Value (1981), No Jacket Required (1985), and …But Seriously (1989).

In 1996, Collins left Genesis to focus on his solo career. In 1999, he received an Oscar for Best Original Song for You’ll Be in My Heart, which was included on the soundtrack of Disney’s Tarzan.

With eight studio albums sold in about 33.5 million copies in the US and over 150 million worldwide, he is one of the world’s best-selling artists. He won eight Grammy Awards, six Brit Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, one Academy Award and a Disney Legend Award.

Following a five-year retirement to focus on his family life, Collins began in June 2017 his Still Not Dead Yet Tour, which will run until October 2019.
