    Arctic Monkeys will perform on Saturday, July 15, 2023, starting with 5.30 pm, at the Ippodromo Milano Trenno, in Milan, as part of the I-DAYS Festival 2023.

    ARCTIC MONKEYS

    Arctic Monkeys - MilanArctic Monkeys were formed in Sheffield in 2002. The group consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Jamie Cook (guitar, keyboards), Nick O’Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Matt Helders (drums, backing vocals).

    Their debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, released in 2006, became the fastest-selling debut album in UK chart history, and won Best British Album at the 2007 BRIT Awards.

    The band’s second album, Favourite Worst Nightmare, released in 2007, was also acclaimed and won Best British Album at the 2008 BRIT Awards.

    Arctic Monkeys released Humbug in 2009, and Suck It and See in 2011. With their fifth album, AM, released in 2013, the band won another British Album of the Year.

    Their sixth album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, was released in 2018, and their last album to date, The Car, was released in October 2022.

     

    I-DAYS FESTIVAL

    Formerly known as the Independent Days Festival, the I-DAYS Festival was born in 1999, in Bologna.

    The 2009 and 2018 editions were held in Milan, and the 2016 and 2017 editions took place in Monza, near Milan.

    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of the festival was first postponed to 2021, and then rescheduled to 2022.

     

    THE VENUE

    Ippodromo Milano Trenno is a new arena created by Snaitech within the historic equestrian center of San Siro Racetrack (Ippodromo Snai – San Siro). The space is destined for the organization of major musical events and festivals, a beautiful urban location surrounded by greenery.

    The closest Metro stop is San Siro Stadio, on the Metro Line M5, located about 1 kilometer away. The closest bus stop, located a few tens of meters away, is in Via Pinerolo 76, on the bus Line 78. The closest tram stop is San Siro Stadio, located about 1.5 kilometers away, on the tram Line 16.
