    Guns N' Roses - RomeGuns N’ Roses was formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, California, and originally comprised vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler.

    The current lineup consists of Rose, Slash, McKagan, keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer and keyboardist Melissa Reese.

    Their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, was released in 1987, and reached number one on the Billboard 200 during the following year.

    The album sold 30 million copies worldwide, including 18 million in the United States.

    Their next studio album, G N’ R Lies, was released in 1988, reaching number two on the Billboard 200, and selling ten million copies worldwide.

    Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, recorded simultaneously and released in 1991, sold a combined 35 million copies worldwide.

    The Spaghetti Incident?, released in 1993, was an album of covers and the band’s last studio album to feature Slash and McKagan before their initial departure.

    After several lineup changes, their long-awaited sixth album, Chinese Democracy, was released in 2008.

    Their discography consists of 6 studio albums, one live album, 2 compilation albums, four extended plays, 20 singles, 9 video albums and 23 music videos.

    Slash and McKagan rejoined the band in 2016 for the Not in This Lifetime… Tour.

    Guns N’ Roses was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. To date, the band sold more than 100 million records worldwide, including 45 million in the United States.

    Circus Maximus is an ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue located in the valley between the Aventine and Palatine hills.

    The closest bus stop is Aventino/Circo Massimo, on the bus Lines 51, 75, 81, 118 and 160.
