    The American a cappella group Pentatonix will perform on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Lorenzini District, in Milan.

    The concert, initially scheduled for March 30, 2020, at the Alcatraz Club, was postponed to May 29, 2021, and then to March 27, 2022, at Lorenzini District. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date.

    THE GROUP

    Pentatonix was formed in 2011, in Arlington, Texas, and currently consists of vocalists Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee.

    Their debut EP, PTX, Volume 1, was released in 2012, followed by their holiday release, PTXmas, the same year, and by their third release, PTX, Vol. II, in 2013. In 2014, the group released their fourth EP, PTX, Vol. III, two full-length studio albums and their second holiday release, That’s Christmas to Me.

    The following year, Pentatonix released their eponymous album, their first consisting mostly of original material, followed by a third Christmas album, A Pentatonix Christmas, in 2016, and a new EP, PTX, Vol. IV – Classics, the year after.

    In 2018, Pentatonix released two albums: PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol. I, and Christmas is Here!, their third full-length holiday album. We Need a Little Christmas, their fourth holiday album, was released in 2020.

    The Lucky Ones, their ninth studio album, and the second containing all original material, was released on February 12, 2021. A new holiday album, Evergreen, is scheduled for release on October 29, 2021.

    To date, Pentatonix received three Grammy Awards. Their YouTube channel has currently over 17 million subscribers and 4 billion views.

     

    THE VENUE

    Lorenzini District is a structure of about 10,000 square meters built in 2019 in the Scalo di Porta Romana area, a few steps from Fondazione Prada.

    The venue is located about 1.5 kilometers from the Milano Porta Romana railway station. The closest Metro station is Lodi Tibb, located about 1.2 kilometers away, on the Metro Line 3. The closest tram and bus stop is in Via Giuseppe Ripamonti, a few meters away, on the tram Line 24 and the bus Line N24.
