Blind Guardian – The God Machine Tour 2023

Besides the concert in Rome, Blind Guardian will also appear on stage in Milan, on October 3, 2023.

BLIND GUARDIAN

Blind Guardian is a German power metal band formed in 1984 in Krefeld, Germany.

The band’s current lineup consists of singer Hansi Kürsch, guitarists André Olbrich and Marcus Siepen, drummer Frederik Ehmke, and bassist Johan Van Stratum.

In 1988, the band released their first album, Battalions of Fear. Since then, they released eleven more studio albums, including an orchestral album that was released under the name Blind Guardian Twilight Orchestra.

Their last album to date is The God Machine, released on September 2, 2022.

Most of Blind Guardian’s albums were well received by fans and critics alike. Somewhere Far Beyond, released in 1992, Imaginations from the Other Side, released in 1995, and Nightfall in Middle-Earth, released in 1998, are seen as influential works.

Their music is mostly composed by Kürsch and Olbrich, and the lyrics, written by Kürsch, are mostly inspired by the fiction of fantasy authors such as J. R. R. Tolkien, Michael Moorcock, Stephen King, George R. R. Martin and Robert Jordan.

THE VENUE

Atlantico is a venue in Rome with a capacity between 3500 and 4000 people, perfect for medium range concerts.

The space has state of the art lights and HD video digital projectors, led screens and lasers, and proposes a flexible set-up for different events: concerts, theater, new opera and musical. The center has bars, catering and a large parking lot for more than 700 vehicles.

Atlantico is located on the outskirts of Rome, in Viale dell’Oceano Atlantico 271D. The closest bus stop is Colombo/Pacifico, located about 170 meters away, on the bus Lines 070, 700, 706 and 709.
