THE VENUES OF THE UMBRIA JAZZ FESTIVAL 2023
The wide appeal of the event attracts people in the main squares of the city, especially in Piazza IV Novembre, where Fontana Maggiore, Palazzo dei Priori and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo act as a backdrop for the musical show.
However, since 2003, the most important concerts of the festival take place on the Arena Santa Giuliana, a stadium in Perugia, used mainly for soccer games.
Arena Santa Giuliana was born in 1937, based on a project by the architect Giuseppe Lilli, to provide the city of Perugia with a real stadium.
The stadium is located in the historical center of the city, about 1.3 kilometers away from the Perugia railway station.
The closest bus stop is located in Via Fratelli Pellas, about 50 meters away, on the bus Lines 102, 103, 104, 105, 112, 114, 115, 117, A, D, E, F022, G, H, I and R.
