Mötley Crüe – World Tour 2023

Mötley Crüe will perform on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the San Siro Racetrack (Ippodromo Snai – San Siro), in Milan, as part of the Milano Summer Festival 2023.

On the same day, Mötley Crüe will share the stage with the English band Def Leppard. The concert will be part of their joint World Tour 2023.

THE BAND

Mötley Crüe was formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil.

The band experienced several lineup changes during the 1990s and 2000s. However, their current lineup is the same as the original.

Their discography consists of 9 studio albums, 3 live albums, 3 EPs, 6 compilation albums, 2 box sets, 9 DVD, 30 singles, and 32 music videos.

Over time, the band sold over 100 million albums worldwide, achieving 7 platinum or multi-platinum certifications, 9 Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart, 22 Top 40 mainstream rock hits, and 6 Top 20 pop singles.

THE FESTIVAL

Milano Summer Festival brings to Milan some of the best-known artists of different music genres, spanning from rock to electronic dance music, jazz, blues, heavy metal and more.

Besides Mötley Crüe, the 2023 edition of the festival will feature the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden and the above-mentioned Def Leppard.

THE VENUE

The San Siro Racetrack, built in the 1920s and renovated in 1975, can be considered a monument of national interest. The area, dedicated to live concerts and equestrian sport, is located on the outskirts of Milan, in Piazzale dello Sport.

The entrance to the concert is located in Via Diomede 1. The closest Metro station is Lotto, located about 170 meters away, in Piazzale Lorenzo Lotto, on the Metro Lines M1 and M5.
