Linkin Park stands as one of the most influential bands of the 21st century, reshaping the landscape of rock and alternative music.

Formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1996, Linkin Park’s journey from a local band to global superstars is a testament to their innovation, resilience, and relatability.

The seeds of Linkin Park were sown when three high school friends – Mike Shinoda (vocals, rap, and production), Brad Delson (guitar), and Rob Bourdon (drums), came together to create music.

They later added Dave “Phoenix” Farrell (bass), Joe Hahn (turntables), and Mark Wakefield (original vocalist).

However, their breakthrough came when Chester Bennington joined as the lead vocalist in 1999, bringing a raw emotional intensity that complemented Shinoda’s rapping and production skills.

Hybrid Theory became a cultural phenomenon, earning a Grammy Award and selling over 30 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling debut albums of all time.

Linkin Park initially rose to fame as pioneers of the nu-metal movement, blending aggressive rock with hip-hop influences.

Their second album, Meteora (2003), solidified their position as one of the most prominent bands of their era.

Tracks like Numb, Somewhere I Belong, and Breaking the Habit resonated with fans for their emotional depth and relatable themes of alienation, self-doubt, and resilience.

As the music landscape shifted, so did Linkin Park’s sound. Their third album, Minutes to Midnight (2007), marked a departure from their nu-metal roots, incorporating more traditional rock elements and introspective lyrics.

The album reflected their growth as artists and their willingness to experiment with new styles.

Linkin Park continued to reinvent themselves with each subsequent release. A Thousand Suns (2010) explored political and existential themes through a concept-driven, electronic-heavy approach.

Living Things (2012) blended elements from their earlier styles with contemporary electronic influences, while The Hunting Party (2014) embraced a rawer, more aggressive rock sound.

The band’s final studio album with Chester Bennington, One More Light (2017), showcased a softer, more pop-oriented style, highlighting their versatility.

Though polarizing for some fans, the album revealed the band’s willingness to adapt and explore new creative directions.

The tragic death of Chester Bennington in 2017 marked the end of an era for Linkin Park, leaving fans and the music world in mourning.

THE I-DAYS FESTIVAL 2025

I-DAYS Festival 2025

Formerly known as the Independent Days Festival, the I-DAYS Festival was born in 1999, in Bologna.

The 2009 and 2018 editions were held in Milan, and the 2016 and 2017 editions took place in Monza, near Milan.

In 2017, the music festival rebranded itself as the I-DAYS Festival, reflecting its newfound identity as a multi-genre extravaganza.

Over time, many important bands and artists performed on the stage of the festival, among which we can mention Blink-182, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Muse, Coldplay, Deep Purple, Green Day, and Radiohead.

The I-DAYS Festival 2025 will take place during the months of May, June and July, 2025, at the Ippodromo Snai La Maura, in Milan.

IPPODROMO SNAI LA MAURA

Ippodromo Snai La Maura is a new racecourse created by Snaitech within the historic equestrian center of San Siro Racetrack (Ippodromo Snai – San Siro).

The space is destined for the organization of major musical events and festivals, a beautiful urban location surrounded by greenery.
