The Welsh heavy metal band Bullet For My Valentine will perform on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, starting with 7:00 pm, at the Alcatraz Club, in Milan.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the concert initially planned for February 17, 2022, was postponed to February 14, 2023. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date.
Bullet For My Valentine was formed in 1998, and is currently composed of Matthew Tuck (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jason Bowld (drums) and Jamie Mathias (bass guitar).
The band was influenced by Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Testament, Stuck Mojo, Megadeth, Slayer, Machine Head, Sepultura, Nirvana, Guns N’ Roses, Queen, Led Zeppelin, and Dire Straits.
The Poison, their debut album, was released on October 3, 2005. The second album, Scream Aim Fire, was released on January 29, 2008. The third album of the band, Fever, was released in April, 2010, and the fourth, Temper Temper, in February, 2013. On August 14, 2015, the band released their fifth studio album, Venom. Their sixth album, Gravity, was released on June 29, 2018.
Bullet for My Valentine is the upcoming eponymous seventh studio album of the band, which will be released on November 5, 2021.
Besides these studio albums, Bullet For My Valentine also released four live albums, five EPs and four video albums, twenty-nine singles and twenty-nine music videos. Over time, the band sold over 1.7 million albums in the United States and over 3 million albums worldwide.
Alcatraz, one of the most famous clubs in Milan, is housed in a structure built in 1946. The space was completely modernized between 1997 and 1998, and became a venue for events, exhibitions and musical performances.
