Everything You Need to Know About the Carnival of Venice 2027.

The Venetian Feast on Water (La Festa Veneziana sull’acqua) is, in fact, the Grand opening of the Venice Carnival 2019, stretched over two days, on 16th and 17th of February.

On the 16th of february, the Cannaregio Canal, one of the main waterways of Venice, will turn into a water stage, with a show that will delight thousands of people, tourists and locals alike.

The show, mysterious and colourful, will consist of aquatic performances, acrobatics, dance and music, celebrating, first of all, the water on which the city seems to float.

On the 17th of February, the Venetian Feast on Water will continue with its second part, starting at 11.00 am, on the Grand Canal. On this occasion, a water parade will take place. The specific Venetian boats will sail along the most famous channel of Venice, from Punta della Dogana to the Cannaregio Canal.

In Cannaregio, starting with 12.00 pm, you will find various stalls with traditional delicacies, venetian food specialities and wine.
