KISS – End of the Road World Tour 2022

The American rock band KISS will perform in Verona on Monday, July 11, 2022, starting with 9.15 pm, at the Arena di Verona, as part of their End of the Road World Tour 2022.

The concert, initially scheduled for July 13, 2020, was first postponed to July 12, 2021, and then to July 11, 2022. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date.

THE BAND

The band was formed in 1973 in New York City by Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley. The band, known for its members’ face paint and stage outfits, rose to prominence in the second half of the 1970s.

Over time, the band gone through several lineup changes, with Stanley and Simmons being the only remaining original members. Today, besides the two original members, the band includes Eric Singer (drums, backing and lead vocals) and Tommy Thayer (lead guitar, backing and lead vocals).

Starting with the band’s eponymous debut album, appeared in 1974, KISS released to date twenty studio albums and sixty singles.

KISS is regarded as one of the most influential rock bands of all time. With over 100 million records sold worldwide, KISS is also one of the best-selling bands of all time. In 2014, the four original members of KISS were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

THE VENUE

Arena di Verona is a Roman amphitheater located in the historical center of Verona, in Piazza Bra. The Arena is one of the best preserved amphitheaters in the world, the eighth Roman amphitheater in the world by size and the fourth among those located in Italy.

Arena di Verona is located in Piazza Bra, about 1.5 kilometers from the Verona Porta Nuova railway station. The closest bus stop is near the Arena, on the bus Lines 11, 12, 13, 51, 52, 78, 90, 92, 94, 96, 97, 98, 102, 161, 162, 163, 164 and 165.
