Diana Krall @ The Lucca Summer Festival 2024

Diana Krall is a Canadian jazz pianist and singer, known for her contralto vocals.

To date, she released 15 studio albums, one live album, one compilation album, one extended play, four singles, 16 promotional singles, three video albums, and seven music videos.

She is the only jazz singer with eight albums debuting at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums.

Throughout her career, Krall won numerous awards and sold 16 million albums, establishing herself as one of the best-selling artists of her time.

Diana Krall won three Grammy Awards and eight Juno Awards. She also earned nine gold, three platinum, and seven multi-platinum albums.

LUCCA SUMMER FESTIVAL

The first edition of the Lucca Summer Festival was held in 1998, when Bob Dylan, George Benson and Joe Cocker performed on the stage of the festival.

Over time, important artists attended the festival, such as David Bowie, James Brown, Ray Charles, Elton John, Paul Simon, The Rolling Stones, Sting, and Scorpions.

As usual, the Lucca Summer Festival 2024 will take place during the month of July, in Lucca.

The concerts of the Lucca Summer Festival 2024 will be held in Piazza Napoleone, Piazza San Martino, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, or in the former Campo Balilla, located outside the historic walls of Lucca.

Besides Diana Krall, other artists announced for the 2024 edition of the Lucca Summer Festival are Rod Stewart, Lenny Kravitz, The Smashing Pumpkins, Toto, Mika, Sam Smith, and Ed Sheeran.

PIAZZA NAPOLEONE

Piazza Napoleone is the main square of Lucca, and one of the venues where, every year in the summer, is held one of the most important music festivals in Italy, the Lucca Summer Festival.

Piazza Napoleone is located inside the city walls of Lucca, about 650 meters away from the Lucca railway station.

The closest bus stop is Napoleone, located in the northwestern corner of the square, on the bus Lines 5, LAM Blu and LAM Verde.
