    Bryan Adams rose to fame in 1983 with his album Cuts Like a Knife, and became a global superstar in 1984 with his album Reckless, which featured hits like Run to You and Summer of ’69.

    In 1991, he released (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, from the album Waking Up the Neighbours, which was written for the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and became a worldwide hit, reaching number 1 in many countries.

    Throughout his career, he received many awards and nominations, including 20 Juno Awards, 15 Grammy Award nominations, MTV, ASCAP, American Music awards, three Ivor Novello Awards, and was nominated five times for Golden Globe Awards and three times for Academy Awards.

    His discography is composed of 18 studio releases, six compilation albums, two soundtrack albums, seven live albums, and 77 singles.

    Bryan Adams sold over 100 million records all over the world, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artists of all time.

     

    LUCCA SUMMER FESTIVAL

    The first edition of the Lucca Summer Festival was held in 1998, when Bob Dylan, George Benson and Joe Cocker performed on stage.

    Over time, important artists attended the music festival, such as David Bowie, James Brown, Ray Charles, Elton John, Paul Simon, The Rolling Stones, Sting, and Scorpions.

    As usual, the Lucca Summer Festival 2025 will take place during the month of July, in Lucca.

    The concerts of the Lucca Summer Festival 2025 will be held in Piazza Napoleone, Piazza San Martino, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, or in the former Campo Balilla, located outside the historic walls of Lucca.

     

    PIAZZA NAPOLEONE

    Piazza Napoleone is the main square of Lucca, and one of the venues where, every year in the summer, is held one of the most important music festivals in Italy, the Lucca Summer Festival.

    Piazza Napoleone is located inside the city walls of Lucca, about 650 meters away from the Lucca railway station.

    The closest bus stop is Napoleone, located in the northwestern corner of the square, on the bus Lines 5, LAM Blu and LAM Verde.
