Sigur Rós – European and UK Orchestral Tour 2025

Sigur Rós will perform on Tuesday, September 9, and Wednesday, September 10, 2025, starting with 9.00 pm, at Teatro degli Arcimboldi, in Milan.

Besides the concerts in Milan, Sigur Rós will also appear on stage in Rome, on September 12 and 13, 2025, at Auditorium Parco della Musica, in Sala Santa Cecilia, as part of the Roma Summer Fest 2025.

The concerts are part of their European and UK Orchestral Tour 2025, in which Sigur Rós will perform accompanied by an orchestra.

Sigur Rós – Concerts in Milan

Sigur Rós was formed in Reykjavík, in 1994.

The band’s lineup comprises of singer and guitarist Jón Þór “Jónsi” Birgisson, bassist Georg Hólm, and keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson.

The band is known for their ethereal sound, for the frontman Jónsi’s falsetto vocals, and for their use of bowed guitar.

Their discography consists of eight studio albums, three remix album, five extended plays, one soundtrack album, sixteen singles, twenty-three music videos and two video albums.

TEATRO DEGLI ARCIMBOLDI

Teatro degli Arcimboldi is a theater and opera house in Milan, located in Viale dell’Innovazione, 20, in an area known as Bicocca.

The 2,375-seat auditorium was built over a 27-month period, in anticipation of the closure and renovation of the La Scala theater in 2001.

The theater is located about 200 meters away from the Milano Greco Pirelli railway station.

The closest bus stop is Teatro Arcimboldi, on the bus Line 87, about 40 meters away.

You can also reach the theater by tram, with the tram Line 7, getting off at the Arcimboldi Ateneo Nuovo stop, located about 120 meters away.
