    The American guitarist Joe Satriani will perform on Monday, April 24, 2023, starting with 9.00 pm, at Teatro Dal Verme, in Milan.

    Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the concert, initially planned for May 18, 2020, and then postponed to May 25, 2021, and to May 25, 2022, was rescheduled to April 24, 2023. If you already bought tickets for this concert, these will be valid for the event on April 24, 2023.

    Besides the concert in Milan, Joe Satriani will also appear on stage in Naples, on April 26, 2023, in Lecce, on April 28, 2023, in Rome, on April 29, 2023, in Florence, on April 30, 2023, and in Bologna, on May 2, 2023.



    Born in 1956, in Long Island, Joseph Satriani began playing the guitar at age 14, influenced by Jimi Hendrix. A few years later, he began taking jazz lessons.

    In 1988, Satriani was recruited by Mick Jagger as lead guitarist for his solo tour. The artist briefly toured with Deep Purple, joining shortly after the departure of Ritchie Blackmore in 1993. He was also the guitarist for the supergroup Chickenfoot since 2008, and collaborated over time with Blue Öyster Cult, Stuart Hamm, Alice Cooper and Spinal Tap.

    Since his self-titled debut EP in 1984, the artist released seventeen studio albums, three of which received Gold certification in the United States and one went Platinum, five live albums, five compilations, and four extended plays.

    Joe Satriani is a 15-time Grammy Award nominee. To date, he sold over 10 million albums worldwide, making him the best-selling instrumental rock guitarist of all time.



    Teatro Dal Verme is a theater in Milan, located on Via San Giovanni sul Muro, on the site of the former private theater Politeama Ciniselli. It was designed by Giuseppe Pestagalli in the 19th century, and was used primarily for plays and opera performances. Today, the theater is a venue for concerts, plays and dance performances, as well as exhibitions and conferences.

    The closest Metro station is Cairoli, on the Metro Line M1, located about 130 meters away. The closest bus stop, with the same name, is right in front of the theater, and you can get there with the buses 50 or 61. You can reach the same station with the tram Line 1.
