James Blunt – Once Upon a Mind Tour 2022

The English singer James Blunt will perform on Saturday, May 21, 2022, starting with 8.30 pm, at the Mediolanum Forum, in Assago, part of the Metropolitan City of Milan.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the concert, initially planned for March 25, 2020, and then to October 3, 2020, March 23, 2021, October 11, 2021, and March 21, 2022, was postponed to May 21, 2022. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date.

Besides the concert in Milan, as part of his Once Upon a Mind Tour 2022, James Blunt will also perform in Padua, on May 22, 2022, at the Kioene Arena.

THE ARTIST

James Blunt rose to fame in 2004, with the release of his debut album Back to Bedlam. The most important singles from his album were You’re Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover. The album sold over 11 million copies worldwide, was the best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK and is one of the best-selling albums in UK chart history.

His second album, All the Lost Souls, was released in 2007, and his third album, Some Kind of Trouble, in 2010. Then, followed Moon Landing in 2013, The Afterlove in 2017, and Once Upon a Mind in 2019.

Over time, James Blunt sold over 20 million records worldwide. He received several awards, including two Brit Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards and two Ivor Novello Awards, as well as receiving five Grammy Award nominations.

THE VENUE

The venue, Mediolanum Forum, is an indoor sports arena located in Assago, about 8 kilometers from Milan. The arena has a seating capacity of 12,700 and is primarily used for sporting events and concerts.

The Mediolanum Forum is located about 450 meters away from the Assago Milanofiori Forum Metro station, which can be reached with the Metro Line M2.
