The American band Dream Theater will perform on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at the Mediolanum Forum, in Milan, as part of their Distance Over Time tour.
The band was founded in 1985 under the name Majesty by John Petrucci, John Myung and Mike Portnoy. The original members remained together until September 8, 2010, when Mike Portnoy left the band. In 2011, Mike Mangini was introduced as the new drummer.
Over time, Dream Theater released fourteen studio albums, with the band’s highest-selling album being Images and Words, appeared in 1992. To date, the band sold over 12 million records worldwide and received two Grammy Award nominations.
The venue, Mediolanum Forum, is an indoor sports arena located in Assago, about 8 kilometers from Milan. The arena has a seating capacity of 12,700 and is used mainly for sporting events and concerts.
The Mediolanum Forum is located about 450 meters away from the Assago Milanofiori Forum Metro station, which can be reached with the Metro Line M2.
