The Canadian singer Avril Lavigne will perform on Monday, April 24, 2023, starting with 8.30 pm, at the Mediolanum Forum, in Assago, near Milan.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the concert, initially planned for March 15, 2020, and then to March 12, 2021, and to March 6, 2022, was postponed to April 24, 2023. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date.
Besides the concert in Milan, Avril Lavigne will also appear on stage in Padua, on April 23, 2023.
THE ARTIST
Avril Ramona Lavigne was born on September 27, 1984, in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. At age 16, she signed a two-album contract with Arista Records.
Her debut studio album, Let Go, released in 2002, is the best-selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist. Her second studio album, Under My Skin, was released in 2004, and became Lavigne’s first album to reach the top of the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, selling 10 million copies worldwide.
Her third studio album, The Best Damn Thing, was released in 2007, her fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby, in 2011, and her fifth, Avril Lavigne, in 2013. In 2019, Lavigne released her sixth studio album, Head Above Water, and three years later, in 2022, her seventh studio album, Love Sux.
Over time, Avril Lavigne released seven studio albums, eight extended plays, 32 singles, and 39 music videos.
THE VENUE
The Mediolanum Forum is an indoor sports arena located about 8 kilometers from the center of Milan, in Assago. The venue has a seating capacity of 12,700 and is used primarily for sporting events and concerts.
The Mediolanum Forum is located about 450 meters away from the Assago Milanofiori Forum Metro station, which can be reached with the Metro Line M2.
