Bryan Adams, the Canadian singer known for hits like (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, All for Love and Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?, will perform on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at the Unipol Arena, in Casalecchio di Reno, near Bologna. The concert is part of his Shine a Light Tour 2019.
THE ARTIST
Bryan Adams rose to fame in 1983 with his album Cuts Like a Knife, and became a global superstar in 1984 with his album Reckless, which featured hits like Run to You and Summer of ’69.
In 1991, he released (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, from the album Waking Up the Neighbours, a song written for the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, which became a worldwide hit, reaching number 1 in many countries.
Throughout his career, he received many awards and nominations, including 20 Juno Awards, 15 Grammy Award nominations including a win for Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television, MTV, ASCAP, American Music awards, three Ivor Novello Awards, and was nominated five times for the Golden Globe Awards and three times for the Academy Awards.
Throughout his career, Bryan Adams sold over 100 million records, making him one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time.
In January 2019, Adams released Shine a Light, the single from his upcoming album of the same name, and planned a tour to promote the album for later in 2019.
THE VENUE
Unipol Arena is an indoor arena with a capacity of 18,000 seats, located in Casalecchio di Reno, about 6 kilometers away from Bologna.
From Bologna, the easiest way to reach the arena is by train. From Bologna Centrale, you can take the train to the Casalecchio Palasport train station, located about 100 meters away from the Unipol Arena. You can also get there by bus, with one of the extraurban bus Lines 83, 94 and 671.
