Pisa Mover is a people mover-type system inaugurated on March 18, 2017, in Pisa, which connects the Pisa Centrale train station to the Galileo Galilei Airport, with an intermediate stop at San Giusto/Aurelia, where two large parking lots are located.
The track is 1.78 kilometers long, has 3 stops and follows the route of the previous Pisa Centrale-Pisa Airport railway, dismantled in 2013.
TIMETABLE
With 2 shuttles in operation and 107 seats per shuttle, the service operates every day from 4.30 am to 1.30 am. In the busiest time slots, an average frequency of about 7 minutes is guaranteed, while in the morning, before 8.00 am, and in the evening, after 9.00 pm, the waiting times are between 12 and 15 minutes. The average travel time between the airport and the train station, including the intermediate stop, is approximately 5 minutes.
FARES
A ticket from the Pisa Centrale train station to the Pisa International Airport, or vice versa, costs 5€. A round trip costs 10€. The fares are valid also for passengers who get the shuttle from the intermediate station.
