    Simply Red will perform on Friday, November 7, 2025, starting with 9:15 pm, at the Kioene Arena, in Padua.

    Besides the concert in Padua, Simply Red will also appear on stage in Assago, near Milan, on November 8, 2025, and in Florence, on November 9, 2025.

    The concert is included in their 40th Anniversary Tour 2025.

    Simply Red – Padua

    Simply Red was formed in Manchester in 1985.

    Led by the vocalist Mick Hucknall, the band released their debut studio album, Picture Book, in the same year.

    Men and Women was released in 1987, A New Flame in 1989, Stars in 1991, Life in 1995, Blue in 1998, Love and the Russian Winter in 1999, Home in 2003, Simplified in 2005, and Stay in 2007.

    Simply Red disbanded in 2010, but the band was reformed in 2015 for the 30th anniversary European tour, the Big Love Tour 2015.

    A new album, Big Love, was released in 2015. The band’s twelfth studio album, Blue Eyed Soul, was released in November 2019.

    Time, the thirteenth studio album of Simply Red, was released in May 2023.

    The current lineup of the band consists of Mick Hucknall (lead vocals), Ian Kirkham (saxophone, keyboards), Steve Lewinson (bass), Kenji Suzuki (guitars), Kevin Robinson (trumpet), Dave Clayton (keyboards), and Roman Roth (drums, backing vocals).

    Over time, Simply Red had five number one albums in the UK, with their 1991 album, Stars, being one of the best-selling albums in UK chart history.

    The band received the award for Best British Group at the 1992 and 1993 Brit Awards, and three Grammy Award nominations in 1987 and 1990.

    To date, Simply Red sold over 50 million albums worldwide.

     

    KIOENE ARENA

    Kioene Arena is an indoor sports arena located in Via San Marco 53, in Padua.

    The arena has a seating capacity of 3,916 and is primarily used for basketball, futsal and handball, but it also hosts live concerts.

    The closest bus stop is San Marco 34, on the bus Line U10, about 230 meters away.

    Another bus stop located near the Arena is San Lazzaro, about 300 meters away, on the bus Lines 53E, 67E and U10. For precise directions, use the map below.
