The Venue – Gran Teatro Geox

It was inaugurated on November 7, 2009, with a concert by Porcupine Tree, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the city’s cultural life.

Designed and built by the Padua-based company Zed! Entertainment’s World, the Gran Teatro Geox is architecturally distinctive. The building is conceived as a large self-supporting arch structure, completely free of internal columns or obstructions.

On October 15, 2010, the venue officially adopted the name Gran Teatro Geox, further establishing its identity as a premier destination for touring artists and major events.

The theater features a 26-meter-wide stage, capable of accommodating complex technical setups and large bands, while still allowing for intimacy when required.

With over 2,500 seated places, all arranged frontally across a gently sloping stalls area and tiered seating, the venue offers excellent visibility and a strong sense of proximity to the stage.

Reaching the Gran Teatro Geox is relatively straightforward, though the venue’s location favors certain modes of transport.

There are bus stops nearby on Via Montà, served by Bus Line U11, providing a public transportation option for attendees.

However, due to the layout of the area and the timing of evening events, the easiest and most convenient way to reach the venue is by taxi, particularly for those arriving from other parts of Padua or from outside the city.
