The Canadian singer Avril Lavigne will perform on Sunday, April 23, 2023, starting with 9.15 pm, at the Kioene Arena, in Padua.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the concert, initially planned for March 14, 2021, and then to March 4, 2022, was postponed to April 23, 2023. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date.
Besides the concert in Padua, Avril Lavigne will also appear on stage in Milan, on April 24, 2023.
THE ARTIST
Avril Ramona Lavigne was born on September 27, 1984, in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. At age 16, she signed a two-album contract with Arista Records.
Her debut studio album, Let Go, released in 2002, is the best-selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist. Her second studio album, Under My Skin, was released in 2004, and became Lavigne’s first album to reach the top of the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, selling 10 million copies worldwide.
Her third studio album, The Best Damn Thing, was released in 2007, her fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby, in 2011, and her fifth, Avril Lavigne, in 2013. In 2019, Lavigne released her sixth studio album, Head Above Water, and three years later, in 2022, her seventh studio album, Love Sux.
Over time, Avril Lavigne released seven studio albums, eight extended plays, 32 singles, and 39 music videos.
THE VENUE
Kioene Arena is an indoor sports arena located in Via San Marco 53, in Padua. The arena has a seating capacity of 3,916 and is primarily used for basketball, futsal and handball, but it also hosts live concerts.
