The Streets, the English grime group led by the vocalist Mike Skinner, will play on Sunday, 24 February 2019, at the Fabrique, in Milan. The concert is part of their The Darker the Shadow, The Brighter the Light Tour 2019.
The Streets is an alternative hip hop music project from Birmingham, which released five studio albums between 2002 and 2011: Original Pirate Material, A Grand Don’t Come for Free, The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living, Everything Is Borrowed and Computers and Blues. The most successful singles of the group were Has It Come to This?, Fit But You Know It, Dry Your Eyes, When You Wasn’t Famous, Prangin’ Out and Blinded by the Lights.
After announcing the withdrawal from the scene in 2011, on December 2017, after a six-year absence, The Streets released two new tracks. On 31 January 2018, The Streets released the single If You Ever Need to Talk I’m Here on streaming services.
Starting with January 2019, The Streets will return to the stage with the second part of their tour, The Darker the Shadow The Brighter The Light, first in the UK, and then in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, to finally arrive in Italy on February 24th, for a show scheduled in Milan.
Fabrique is a club located on the outskirts of Milan, in Via Gaudenzio Fantoli 9. The closest train station is Milano Rogoredo, located about 3 kilometers away. From the train station, you can take the bus Line 88 and get off in Via Fantoli, about 50 meters from the club. You can also reach the club by tram, taking the Line 27 up to the intersection of Via Mecenate and Via Fantoli, about 160 meters away.
