Mantova Live Estate 2023

Mantova Live Estate 2023 will take place during the summer months of 2023, in the beautiful city of Mantua.

SHORT HISTORY OF MANTOVA LIVE ESTATE

Mantova Live Estate was born in 2019, when Noel Gallagher, Calcutta, Ben Harper and Steve Hackett performed in Piazza Sordello.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 and 2021 editions were canceled.

In 2022, among the artists who attended the music festival were Placebo, The Zen Circus, Iggy Pop, Sangiovanni and Caparezza.

So far, the artists announced for the Mantova Live Estate 2023 are:

THE VENUES OF MANTOVA LIVE ESTATE 2023

The concerts are usually held in Piazza Sordello, but the festival also uses venues such as the courtyard of Palazzo Te, the Bike-In Arena, located in Campo Canoa, or the historical theater Teatro Sociale.

Piazza Sordello is a beautiful square in Mantua, dedicated to the Mantuan troubadour of the 13th century, Sordello da Goito.

The square was built in 1330, and is now overlooked by important buildings, such as the Cathedral of San Pietro, Palazzo Ducale, Palazzo Bonacolsi, and Palazzo Bianchi.

The square is located about 1.2 kilometers away from the Mantua railway station. The closest bus stop, Duomo, is located in the northeastern corner of the square, on the bus Lines 4C, 4S, 4T, 6 and 12.

Palazzo Te is located about 1.5 kilometers away from the Mantua railway station, in the southern part of the historical center of the city.

The closest bus stop is in Piazzale Vittorio Veneto, about 200 meters away, on the bus Line 8.

The Bike-In Arena is located in Campo Canoa, about 700 meters away from the historical center of Mantua, beyond the Mincio River. To reach the Arena, you must cross the San Giorgio Bridge (Ponte di San Giorgio).

Teatro Sociale is located in the center of the city, in Piazza Felice Cavallotti, about 650 meters away from the Mantua railway station.
