Bologna Sonic Park 2019

Bologna Sonic Park is a rock music festival which will take place for the first time in 2019, between June 27 and July 20, at the Arena Parco Nord, in Bologna.

So far, the lineup of the first edition of the festival gathers the following artists:

• Thursday, June 27: the American heavy metal band Slipknot, the Swedish death metal band Amon Amarth, the American thrash metal band Testament, the American heavy metal band Trivium, the Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil and the Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie.
• Friday, June 28: the Italian rapper Salmo.
• Saturday, June 29: the Italian rapper J-Ax and his former group Articolo 31.
• Friday, July 5: the British rock band Skunk Anansie.
• Sunday, July 7: the American rock band Weezer.
• Wednesday, July 10: the American rock band Greta Van Fleet.
• Friday, July 19: the English rock band Bring Me the Horizon.
• Saturday, July 20: the tribute band The Australian Pink Floyd Show.

THE VENUE

Arena Parco Nord is a natural amphitheatre located in Bologna, used primarily for open-air concerts. The amphitheatre has served as the venue for the Independent Days Festival since 1999.

The closest bus station is Parco Nord, located about 80 meters away, on the bus Lines 25, 410 and 925.
