Skunk Anansie – 25LIVE@25 Tour 2019

The British rock band Skunk Anansie will perform on Friday, July 5, 2019, at the Arena Parco Nord, in Bologna, as part of their 25LIVE@25 tour.

THE BAND

Skunk Anansie was formed in 1994 and is composed of Skin (lead vocals, guitar), Cass (guitar, bass), Ace (guitar) and Mark Richardson (drums).

Over their 25-year-long career, the band released six studio albums: Paranoid & Sunburnt in 1995, Stoosh in 1996, Post Orgasmic Chill in 1999, Wonderlustre in 2010, Black Traffic in 2012 and Anarchytecture in 2016. They also released a compilation album, Smashes and Trashes in 2009, and several hit singles, including Hedonism, Brazen (Weep) and Weak.

In 2019, Skunk Anansie will return to Italy for a tour celebrating 25 years of activity. Besides Bologna, where they are headliners for the Bologna Sonic Park Festival, the band will also perform in Nichelino, Milan and Rome.

THE FESTIVAL

Bologna Sonic Park 2019 is the first edition of a rock festival which will take place in Bologna, in the Parco Nord area. Besides Skunk Anansie, the lineup of the festival includes names like Slipknot, Amon Amarth, Testament, Weezer, Greta Van Fleet and Bring Me the Horizon.

THE VENUE

Arena Parco Nord is a natural amphitheatre located in Bologna, used primarily for open-air concerts. The closest bus station is Parco Nord, located about 80 meters away, on the bus Lines 25, 410 and 925.
