    Kappa FuturFestival 2025 will take place between 4 and 6 July, 2025, in Parco Dora, in Turin.

    The Kappa FuturFestival has become one of the most important electronic music festivals in Europe, drawing every year thousands of fans from around the world.

    Located in the vibrant city of Turin, Italy, this event is renowned for its fusion of cutting-edge music, urban aesthetics, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

    The festival features some of the biggest names in electronic music and showcases new talent from across the globe.

     

    WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR THE KAPPA FUTURFESTIVAL 2025?

    As usual, the Kappa FuturFestival 2025 will take place over a summer weekend. The chosen weekend is 4-6 July, 2025.

     

    WHAT IS THE LOCATION OF THE KAPPA FUTURFESTIVAL 2025?

    The festival is held in Turin, in Parco Dora, a former industrial site turned urban park, which provides a unique backdrop to the event.

    Turin is a city of about 850.000 inhabitants, located in the Italian region of Piedmont.

    The city is located 140 kilometers southwest of Milan, 160 kilometers northwest of Genoa, 330 kilometers northwest of Bologna and about the same distance northwest of Pisa.

    FuturFestival was born in December 2008, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Futurism, gathering more than 7.000 people at Oval Lingotto arena, in Turin.

    The following year, FuturFestival participated in the production of the Turin’s official new year’s eve outdoor party, presenting Groove Armada, Juliette Lewis and other internationally recognized artists.

    In June 2012, the event evolved into the first Italian daytime summer festival, under the name of Kappa FuturFestival, taking its name from the well-known sports brand.

    In 2013, Kappa FuturFestival consolidated itself as Italy’s most beloved urban electronic music format, and entered into the Top 5 European Summer Festivals.

    In 2017, the music festival registered 26% attendance from abroad, a new record, counting 62 nationalities among the 45.000 participants.

    In 2018, the area of the festival expanded and a fourth stage was built. The audience grew to 50.000 participants, of which 35% from abroad, coming from 87 countries.

    The 2019 edition was attended by about 60.000 participants from 102 countries, and the festival was recognised at the DJ Awards as the Best International Festival.

    In 2022, FuturFestival extended the programme to 3 days, and set a new record with 85.000 attendees from 105 countries.

    In 2022, headliners were Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Four Tet, Peggy Gou, Ricardo Villalobos, and Satoshi Tomiie.

    So far, no artists have been announced for the Kappa FuturFestival 2025, but we will update the article with each new name added to the lineup.

     

    THE VENUE OF THE KAPPA FUTURFESTIVAL 2025

    Parco Dora is a post-industrial park in Turin, covering an area of about 456,000 square meters, located in the Spina 3 area, where the large Fiat and Michelin production plants stood until the 1990s.

    The park takes its name from the river that crosses it, the Dora Riparia river, and is delimited by Via Nole, Via Valdellatorre, the Carlo Donat-Cattin Tunnel, Corso Mortara, Corso Principe Oddone, Via Daubrée, Corso Umbria, and Piazzale Piero della Francesca.

    The closest tram and bus stop is Piero Della Francesca, located about 100 meters away in Piazzale Piero della Francesca, on the tram Lines 3 and 9 and on the bus Line 22.

    Another bus stop nearby is Mortara, in Via Orvieto, on the bus Lines 60, 72/, 72 and W60.

     

    BEYOND THE MUSIC FESTIVAL

    The festival’s urban setting in Turin also plays a significant role in its appeal, offering visitors the chance to explore one of Italy’s most dynamic cities.

    Turin, known for its rich history, architecture, and culture, provides a stunning contrast to the industrial vibes of Parco Dora.

    The most important attractions of Turin are Mole Antonelliana, the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, which houses the famous Shroud of Turin, and Palazzo Madama, which housed the first Senate of the Kingdom of Italy.

    Other attractions are Palazzo Carignano, which houses the Museum of the Risorgimento, the Royal Palace of Turin, and the Egyptian Museum.

    The city has many wonderful squares, of which we can mention Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Palazzo di Città, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Piazza Carlo Alberto, and Piazza Statuto.

    The city’s proximity to other European capitals makes it an accessible destination for international travelers as well.
