    Kappa FuturFestival 2023 will take place between June 30 and July 2, 2023, in Parco Dora, in Turin.

    SHORT HISTORY OF THE KAPPA FUTURFESTIVAL

    Kappa FuturFestival 2023FuturFestival was born in December 2008, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Futurism, gathering more than 7.000 people at Oval Lingotto arena, in Turin.

    The following year, FuturFestival participated in the production of the Turin’s official new year’s eve outdoor party, presenting Groove Armada, Juliette Lewis and other internationally recognized artists.

    In June 2012, the event evolved into the first Italian daytime summer festival, under the name of Kappa FuturFestival, taking its name from the well-known sports brand.

    In 2013, Kappa FuturFestival consolidated itself as Italy’s most beloved urban electronic music format, and entered into the Top 5 European Summer Festivals.

    In 2017, the music festival registered 26% attendance from abroad, a new record, counting 62 nationalities among the 45.000 participants.

    In 2018, the area of the festival expanded and a fourth stage was built. The audience grew to 50.000 participants, of which 35% from abroad, coming from 87 countries.

    The 2019 edition was attended by about 60.000 participants from 102 countries, and the festival was recognised at the DJ Awards as the Best International Festival.

    In 2022, FuturFestival extended the programme to 3 days, and set a new record with 85.000 attendees from 105 countries.

    In 2022, headliners were Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Four Tet, Peggy Gou, Ricardo Villalobos, and Satoshi Tomiie.

    THE VENUE OF THE KAPPA FUTURFESTIVAL 2023

    Parco Dora is a post-industrial park in Turin, covering an area of about 456,000 square meters, located in the Spina 3 area, where the large Fiat and Michelin production plants stood until the 1990s.

    The park takes its name from the river that crosses it, the Dora Riparia River, and is delimited by Via Nole, Via Valdellatorre, the Carlo Donat-Cattin Tunnel, Corso Mortara, Corso Principe Oddone, Via Daubrée, Corso Umbria, and Piazzale Piero della Francesca.

    The closest tram and bus stop is Piero Della Francesca, located about 100 meters away in Piazzale Piero della Francesca, on the tram Lines 3 and 9 and on the bus Line 22.

    Another bus stop nearby is Mortara, in Via Orvieto, on the bus Lines 60, 72/, 72 and W60.
