The Scottish singer Amy MacDonald will perform on Friday, April 5, 2019, at the Teatro Dal Verme, in Milan.
THE ARTIST
Amy MacDonald released her debut album, This Is the Life, in 2007. The album reached number one in four European countries and sold three million copies worldwide. Her second album, A Curious Thing, was released in 2010.
MacDonald’s third album, Life in a Beautiful Light, was released in 2012. On February 17, 2017, she released her fourth studio album, Under Stars, which entered at number two on the UK Album Chart. To date, Amy MacDonald sold over 12 million records worldwide.
In November 2018, MacDonald released her first greatest hits album, Woman of the World, which included all of her greatest hits, plus a previously unreleased song, Woman of the World. She also announced a European tour during March and April 2019.
THE VENUE
Teatro Dal Verme is a theatre in Milan, located on the Via San Giovanni sul Muro, on the site of the former private theatre Politeama Ciniselli. It was designed by Giuseppe Pestagalli in the 19th century, and was used primarily for plays and opera performances. Today, the theatre is a venue for concerts, plays and dance performances, as well as exhibitions and conferences.
The closest Metro station is Cairoli, on the Metro Line M1, located about 130 meters away. The closest bus station has the same name, is right in front of the theater, and you can get there with the buses 50 or 61. You can reach the same station with the tram Line 1.
