ROBBIE WILLIAMS
Robert Peter Williams was born on February 13, 1974, in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
He found fame as a member of the pop group Take That between 1990 and 1995, and achieved commercial success as a solo artist starting with 1996.
His debut studio album, Life thru a Lens, was released in 1997, and included the single Angels.
His second album, I’ve Been Expecting You, released in 1998, featured the songs Millennium and She’s the One, his first number one singles.
Sing When You’re Winning followed in August 2000, and became his first album to achieve significant overseas commercial success.
A collection of covers of popular swing songs, entitled Swing When You’re Winning, was released in November 2001.
His next two albums, Escapology, released in 2002, and Intensive Care, released in 2005, topped the UK Albums Chart, and contained the hits Feel and Tripping.
He released his first live album, Live at Knebworth, in 2003, and his first greatest hits album, Greatest Hits, in 2004, with the latter certified six times platinum by the BPI and eight times platinum by the ARIA.
Robbie Williams released his seventh album, Rudebox, in October 2006, his eighth album, Reality Killed the Video Star, in November 2009, and Take the Crown, his ninth studio album, in November 2012.
His tenth studio album, Swings Both Ways, was released in 2013. In 2016, Robbie Williams released his eleventh studio album, The Heavy Entertainment Show, and his twelfth album, The Christmas Present, in 2019.
His discography includes twelve studio albums, one live album, ten compilation albums, one extended play, ten video albums, fifty-nine singles, six promotional singles and fifty-six music videos.
Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the UK, and the artist gained a Guinness World Record in 2006 for selling 1.6 million tickets in a single day during his Close Encounters Tour.
Over time, Robbie Williams received 18 Brit Awards, winning Best British Male Artist four times, Outstanding Contribution to Music twice, an Icon Award, eight German ECHO Awards, and three MTV European Music Awards.
To date, he sold over 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
STADIO NEREO ROCCO
Stadio Nereo Rocco is a football stadium in Trieste. The stadium was opened in 1992 with a capacity of 26,000, but after the renovations done in 2018 the capacity was reduced to 21,000.
The stadium is located in the Valmaura district on the southern outskirts of the city, close to the club’s former venue Stadio Giuseppe Grezar.
The stadium is located about 5 kilometers away from the Trieste Centrale railway station. The closest bus stop is in Via Valmaura, near the stadium, on the bus Lines 10, 20 and C.
