About
BeerCatania is a festival of craft beers taking place twice a year in Catania. The spring edition is usualy held in May, while the autumn edition will take place, this year, between 23 and 25 November.
The purpose of the festival is to involve producers in the brewing world in promoting the culture of craft beer. Craft beer is an unpasteurized product, without preservatives, that uses top-quality ingredients.
Craft beer is a fresh and genuine product, 100% natural, produced with a few basic ingredients (water, malted barley, hops and yeast). Behind craft beer, there are stories that deserve to be told and a new approach to consumption: more quality, less quantity.
BeerCatania is also an opportunity to create an adequate awareness of drinking – especially for younger people – offering opportunities to learn about alcohol and its responsible consumption.
THE VENUE
BeerCatania will take place in the Pavilion B of the former fruit and vegetable market of San Giuseppe La Rena, located in Via Forcile.
You can reach the location using the bus Line 524 from Piazza Borsellino, getting off in Via Forcile, or the Librino Express from the Central Station, which stops about 200 meters from the pavilion. For precise directions, use the map below.
