ACTV, the historic public transport operator of Venice, is one of the most important mobility companies in the Venetian Lagoon. The acronym originally stood for Azienda del Consorzio Trasporti Veneziano, the company created to manage public transport in Venice, Mestre, the lagoon islands and parts of the metropolitan area.
