ACTV, the historic public transport operator of Venice, is one of the most important mobility companies in the Venetian Lagoon. The acronym originally stood for Azienda del Consorzio Trasporti Veneziano, the company created to manage public transport in Venice, Mestre, the lagoon islands and parts of the metropolitan area. Today, ACTV operates within the wider AVM Group, the mobility system controlled by the Municipality of Venice. Its services are essential for both residents and visitors, because transport in Venice depends on a combination of waterbuses, ferries, buses, trams and interchanges between land and lagoon routes. Terravision Transfer Treviso Airport-Venice
The Italian coach service operator Terravision offers connections between the Antonio Canova Airport, located near Treviso, and Venice, in partnership with the local transport company Barzi Service. ROUTE At the Treviso Airport, the Terravision bus stops outside the Terminal, in front of the Arrivals. A trip from the airport to Mestre takes about 30 minutes and a trip to Venice about 40 minutes. In Mestre, the bus stops near the Mestre railway station and, in Venice, on the Tronchetto Island. TIMETABLE Every day, Terravision has 15 departures from Treviso Airport to Venice, starting with 8.40 am. The last departure is at 8.30 pm. From Venice to Treviso Airport, there are 15 daily departures between 6.00 in the morning and 7.30 in the evening. FARES A one-way ticket from Treviso Airport to Venice and from Venice to Treviso Airport costs 11€. A roundtrip costs 20€. Young children, 0-10 years old, travel free.
