    On 14 July 2026 at 21:30 (9:30 PM), Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts will headline a special concert at the Lucca Summer Festival 2026 in Lucca.

    The performance is part of the renowned summer festival’s lineup and will take place at the historic Mura di Lucca (Lucca city walls).

    Born Neil Percival Young on 12 November 1945 in Toronto, Canada, Young began playing music at an early age and quickly became known for his distinctive voice, introspective lyrics, and genre-spanning sound.

    Young’s early career saw him join the folk-rock band Buffalo Springfield, contributing to classics like For What It’s Worth before launching a prolific solo career.

    Venue – Mura di Lucca

    For Neil Young’s performance on 14 July 2026, the concert will be held at the Mura di Lucca – also known as the Lucca city walls – a historic fortification that encircles the old city.

    These walls, built during the Renaissance, are among the best-preserved in Europe and offer a distinctive and expansive setting for large outdoor concerts.

    The walls of Lucca have long served as a cultural hub, hosting music events that blend the city’s rich architectural heritage with contemporary performance energy.

    The venue’s open-air characteristics, elevated walkways, and panoramic views make it a striking place for live music experiences, allowing audiences to enjoy both the show and the surrounding historical scenery.

    Lucca railway station is situated just outside the city’s ancient walls at Piazza Ricasoli.

    From there, visitors can easily reach the Mura di Lucca area on foot within approximately 10-15 minutes, following charming streets through the city’s historic center.
