AMAT S.p.A. is the company that manages the public transport of the City of Palermo, consisting of buses and trams, and offers mobility services of car and bike sharing. ROUTES In Palermo, there are 100 bus lines in total, 90 ordinary, 3 special and 7 seasonal. The bus lines are spread throughout the city and also arrive in some neighboring municipalities. The current tram network, completed in 2015, consists of four lines: Roccella – Central Station, Borgo Nuovo – Notarbartolo Station, CEP – Notarbartolo Station and Corso Calatafimi – Notarbartolo Station. TIMETABLE The service hours for the day lines are from 5.30 am to around 11.00 pm. The night lines are N11, N12, N21 and N22, and provide transport in the city for the remaining six hours. FARES A single ticket costs 1.4€. If purchased on board, a ticket is 1.8€. The ticket has a validity of 90 minutes from the time of stamping. A book of 20 tickets costs 23.5€ and a daily ticket is 3.5€.
