    Firenze Rocks 2020

    Firenze Rocks 2020 will take place between 11 and 14 of June, at the Visarno Arena, in Parco delle Cascine, in Florence.   THE FESTIVAL The first edition of Firenze Rocks took place in 2017, when Placebo, Aerosmith and System of a Down attended the festival. In 2018, in front of over 210,000 spectators, The Kills, Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne appeared on stage. In 2019, the most important artists who performed at the festival were Ed Sheeran, The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dream Theater and Eddie Vedder.     Weezer – Hella Mega Tour 2020

    The American rock band Weezer will perform on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at the Visarno Arena, in the Cascine Park, in Florence. On this occasion, Weezer will be the support act for Green Day on their Hella Mega Tour, and the concert will take place in the first day of the rock festival Firenze Rocks 2020.   THE BAND Weezer was founded in 1992, in Los Angeles. The band consists of Rivers Cuomo (lead vocals, lead guitar and keyboards), Patrick Wilson (drums), Brian Bell (guitar, keyboards) and Scott Shriner (bass). In 1994, Weezer released their self-titled debut album, also known as the Blue Album. Their second album, Pinkerton, released in 1996, was a commercial failure, but achieved cult status and critical acclaim later. In 2001, Weezer returned with another self-titled album, also known as the Green Album. Their fourth album, Maladroit, was released in 2002, and their fifth album, Make Believe, in 2005.     Green Day – Hella Mega Tour 2020

    The American band Green Day will perform on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at the Visarno Arena, in the Parco delle Cascine, in Florence, as part of their Hella Mega Tour. The concert will be held in the first day of Firenze Rocks 2020.   THE BAND Green Day was formed in 1986 by lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt. In 1990, the band co-opted the drummer Tré Cool. The band released their debut album, 39/Smooth, in 1990, and their second album, Kerplunk, in 1991. Their third album, Dookie, was released in 1994 and it was a breakout success, selling over 10 million copies in the United States and 20 million copies worldwide. The band’s fourth studio album, Insomniac, was released in 1995, and their fifth album, Nimrod, in 1997.     Lucca Summer Festival 2020

    Lucca Summer Festival 2020, the 23rd edition of one of the most important music festivals in Italy, will take place during the month of July, in Lucca.   THE FESTIVAL The first edition of the Lucca Summer Festival took place in 1998, when Bob Dylan, George Benson and Joe Cocker performed on stage. Over time, important names attended the festival, among which we can mention David Bowie, James Brown, Mark Knopfler, Jamiroquai, Seal, Zucchero, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Paul Simon, Rod Stewart, Oasis, Anastacia, Giorgia, Green Day, Ennio Morricone and The Rolling Stones. On 5 July 2009, the Dave Matthews Band held a concert of over three and a half hours, the longest performance of their career. On 23 September 2017, it was held the historic Rolling Stones concert, the only Italian date of the No Filter European tour, which established the attendance record for this event, of about 55,000 people.
