    The American rock band Evanescence will perform on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at the Mediolanum Forum, in Assago, near Milan. The concert is part of the Worlds Collide Tour 2020, in which Evanescence joined forces with the Dutch band Within Temptation.



    Evanescence was founded in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1995, by singer and pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. Their debut album, Fallen, was released in 2003. The album sold over 17 million copies worldwide and helped the band receive two Grammy Awards out of six nominations.

    In 2004, Evanescence released their first live album, Anywhere but Home, which sold more than one million copies worldwide, followed in 2006 by their second studio album, The Open Door, which sold over five million copies.

    Their third studio album, Evanescence, was released in 2011, and the band’s fourth album, Synthesis, on November 10, 2017.



    The Mediolanum Forum is an indoor sports arena located about 8 kilometers from the center of Milan, in Assago. The venue has a seating capacity of 12,700 and is used primarily for sporting events and concerts.

    The Mediolanum Forum is located about 450 meters away from the Assago Milanofiori Forum Metro station, which can be reached with the Metro Line M2.
