I-Days Festival 2022 will take place between 9 and 12 June, 2022, at the Ippodromo Milano Trenno, in Milan.
Formerly known as the Independent Days Festival, the I-Days Festival was born in 1999, in Bologna. The 2009 and 2018 editions were held in Milan, and the 2016 edition took place in Monza, near Milan.
Over time, many important bands and artists performed on the stage of the festival, among which we can mention Blink-182, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Muse, Coldplay, Queens of the Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, Deep Purple, Arcade Fire, Green Day, Radiohead, Linkin Park, Pearl Jam, The Killers, Placebo and Liam Gallagher.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of the festival was first postponed to 2021, and then rescheduled to 2022.
The concert of Aerosmith, initially scheduled for June 13, 2020, and then postponed to June 11, 2021, was rescheduled to June 10, 2022. The concert of the American band Foo Fighters, initially planned for June 14, 2020, and then rescheduled to June 12, 2021, was confirmed for June 12, 2022.
The concert of System of a Down, initially scheduled for June 12, 2020, and then postponed to June 10, 2021, was cancelled.
So far, the names announced for the 2022 edition of the I-Days Festival are:
- June 9: Greta Van Fleet + The Struts;
- June 10: Aerosmith (CANCELLED);
- June 11: Imagine Dragons + Rkomi + Mother Mother + Kenny Hoopla;
- June 12: Foo Fighters (CANCELLED)
Ippodromo Milano Trenno is a new arena created by Snaitech within the historic equestrian center of San Siro Hippodrome (Ippodromo Snai San Siro). The space is destined for the organization of major musical events and festivals, a beautiful urban location surrounded by greenery.
The closest Metro stop is San Siro Stadio, on the Metro Line M5, located about 900 meters away. The closest bus stop, a few tens of meters away, is in Via Pinerolo Civ. 76, on the bus Line 78.
