    Ed Sheeran released his debut album, +, in September 2011, and the album topped the UK, Australian and US charts, being certified seven-times platinum in the UK.

    In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. The single The A Team was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

    His second studio album, x, was released in June 2014, and it peaked at number one in the UK and the US.

    In 2015, x won the Brit Award for Album of the Year. The single Thinking Out Loud earned him two Grammy Awards at the 2016 ceremony – Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

    Sheeran’s third album, ÷, was released in March 2017, and it debuted at number one in the UK and the US. In April 2018, ÷ was named the best-selling album worldwide of 2017.

    His fourth album, No.6 Collaborations Project, was released in 2019, and debuted at number one in most major markets.

    His fifth studio album, =, was released in 2021, his sixth album, , was released in May 2023, and his seventh album, Autumn Variations, was released in September 2023.

    His discography consists of seven studio albums, two compilation albums, seventeen extended plays, one video album, sixty-five singles, eight promotional singles, one box set, and seventy-one music videos.

    To date, Sheeran sold more than 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artists.
